Bridget Johnson is columnist at the Los Angeles Daily News and a freelance contributor to Pajamas Media, The Politico, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, National Review Online and Jewish World Review. Her columns have run in numerous publications including the Chicago Sun-Times, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Detroit Free Press, the Houston Chronicle, the Montreal Gazette, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, El Diario (Mexico), the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, the San Diego Union-Tribune, the Oakland Tribune, The St. Petersburg (Fla.) Times, the Anchorage Daily News, the Akron Beacon Journal, the San Antonio Express-News, The Australian, The Sowetan (Johannesburg, S.A.) and Nepszabadsag, Hungary's largest daily newspaper. A career journalist with experience as a reporter, editor and award-winning columnist, she never even meant to enter the field, instead majoring in criminology and studying serial killers, which impressed many a man. Unfortunately, no one staged an intervention in time and she found herself mired in journalism. In addition to shocking liberal newsroom colleagues into realizing that conservatives can be oddly lovable, she speaks to live and radio audiences on a variety of topics. She has been a guest on The Laura Ingraham Show, The World Tonight (Canada), RighTalk, KNX News Radio, and more. She is also the grand journalism pooh-bah on About.com. Her specialties are all things Arabic, border drama, Hollywood and politics, political humor, terrorism, crime, pop culture and mocking the likes of Kim Jong Il and Moammar Gadhafi. And no, she didn't produce "As Good As it Gets" and she hasn't met Mel Gibson. So stop asking.
