Just Another Battle In The War On Terror

_41277449_bus_close_reader_1 This is a war of attrition. This is a war the next generation will fight. This is a global war with no front, no capital, no flag to capture, and no end in sight -- at least in my lifetime. And what happened in London today was just another battle.

We're shocked because it's been four years since 9/11. Well, that's how terrorism works. This isn't they hit Pearl Harbor, we hit Tokyo, then we clash at Midway. This is; they hit us, we hit them, they wait until we think we're safe, and they hit again. This is how you rattle a population with seven bombs as much as Hitler did with thousands.

Four years. Think about that. How do you defeat that kind of patience, planning, and determination? How do you defeat an enemy willing to wait years for an opportunity? In a world of 5 billion people only one needs to give our enemy a WMD. The suicide bomber on that bus could've just as easily been carrying a vial. And all their planning, cunning, and patience is about waiting for that moment.

The only way to beat them is by being even more patient and determined. The enemy knows that. Bush knows that. Our media and leftists know it as well. They just don't care. It should be interesting to see how war critics respond to this. I have a guess but now's not the time.

You're in our prayers London.

The free countries of the world need to coordinate their special forces/intelligence and systematically kill as many of these bastards as they can. No courts or prisons required.
