Did You Get The Memo? I Didn't Get The Memo.

When liberals are going to make an about-face I would appreciate a press release or some kind of heads-up. If this happens again I may hire one of their ilk to sue for whiplash caused by shock.

NEWSFLASH: Liberals Suddenly Concerned With Iraqi Civilian Casualties!

Where did this come from? When did this happen? Liberals still back a UN that enabled Iraqi civilian starvation through the Food-For-Oil debacle and weren't concerned at all about stopping Saddam Hussein from killing them and dumping them in mass graves. I mean, liberals want us to lose this war. The Iraqi people don't.

Oh, but suddenly now.... Now, they're deeply worried and hand-wringing all over the place. Now, they're not only concerned about the fate of Iraqi's, they're so concerned that they've decided to breathlessly report on an unsubstantiated body count from an anti-war source who also didn't bother to count Iraqi civilian casualties until they could try and blame us for them.

Call me cynical, but I don't think CNN, the BBC, the liberal media, or any liberal for that matter gives a hearty hi-ho-damn about the Iraqi people. I think they just hate America and find this a convenient way to blame us, give the enemy a little more propaganda, and pretend they care. I know that's cynical. I'm not proud of it. But it's what I think. And I think it because if liberals had their way this would still be happening:

And they know it would still be happening, and they don't care.
