- No beer? No lunch!, Reuters. Belgian parlimentarian refuses to host Iranian diplomats for lunch because not only were they not drinking, but didn't want anyone else to partake of the bottle over chow either. Who says Europe isn't standing up to radical Islam?
- Israel lifts its blockade of Gaza settlements, AFP. Don't the settlers understand that they're really being kicked out of their homes so a developer can build a profitable, community-beneficial hotel on the Strip?
- Mixed reviews for Bush offer to double African aid, The Guardian. Bono liked it -- does anyone else on the other side of the pond really matter?
- 500,000 Immigrants are Illegal: Home Office reveals shock figures, Daily Mirror (UK). Obviously they've never been to California.
- Shark Attack Victim's Kin Thank Rescuers, Fox News. As far as "it" news goes, shark attacks are rapidly becoming the new Aruban murder mystery.
