Islamists cite inebriated Mel Gibson as key foreign policy source
You knew it would happen, right? "But that 'Lethal Weapon' guy said this about Jews after a quart of Cuervo, so it must be true..."
MEMRI has the clip of former Pakistani intelligence chief Gen. Hamid Gul during a press conference aired on Al-Jazeera recently:
"From Ben Gurion to Netanyahu, every Israeli leader has said that Pakistan is their number one enemy.
... Pakistan was established in accordance with the ideology of Al-Madina. This is a widely accepted ideology and theory, because all other ideologies are false. These Israelis know this. When Al-Madina was established, it was established next to [the Jewish city of] Khaybar. Of course, as long as Khaybar was not destroyed, Islam did not spread.
When Mel Gibson, in one of his movies, played a role that was anti-Israeli, anti-Jewish, the Jews claimed that he was an anti-Semite. That American actor, Mel Gibson, said that the Jews caused all the wars. Now he is being sued. Therefore, all the wars, World War I and II, and others... Even at the advent of Islam, the Jews would incite the polytheists against the Islamic state in Al-Madina.
The Jews have always caused the wars. Mecca was only conquered after the destruction of Khaybar. Mecca was not captured in battle. This indicates that the war was not against the polytheists. Even today, our war is not against America or Europe. Our basic war is against Israel, or the so-called State of Israel."
I'll bet the Islamists are anxiously waiting for Mel's next brush with the bottle, traffic stop in Malibu and comments on the right of return to give credence to their rallying points...

The Koran and Cuervo straight on the side

OK, so it was only some clown on AirAmerica Radio on a Sunday afternoon - I was driving home from Albertsons and 790 and KRLA were at commercial, or doing cooking shows - when the DJ started talking about Mel Gibson as if he was part of the "US foreign policy decision making team"... and was not appropriate to be on that team because of his anti semitism.
My Conflation-O-Meter exploded and I had to pull over and go to KEARTH to decompress.
[ps. Mel Gibson, heretofore the luckiest man on earth considering how terrible Mad Max movies were, in all ways except for the outrageous handsomeness quotient, is dead to me. Talk to the Hand dead to me... but I digress... ;-]

So, Mel Gibson hates Jews. That's his problem, we should not let him make it ours.
Judging by his movies: Gallipoli, Braveheart and The Patriot, he doesn't like the English either but you don't see the Sassenachs making a big deal out of it.
