Two Wrongs Make a Wright
The spinmiesters on Obama spiritual mentor Reverend Wright are now saying the good Reverend is not a bad guy; he was simply taken out of context. The problem is that when you look at the context of what he says, it’s actually worse. Wright spews many more anti-American and racially divisive comments than have been widely reported. Obama himself has written some racially divisive comments that may garner more scrutiny when he becomes the official democrat nominee.
Wright is not doing Obama any favors by trying to repair the damage by downplaying the comments. Minimizing the seriousness of such comments didn’t work for David Duke, Ron Paul, or Don Imus and most people are painfully aware of the double standard Obama and his supporters employ. Obama supporters have already tried to unfairly paint opponents as racists by claiming the use of "code words". Obama does not go out of his way to denounce such racially divisive innuendo which devastates his claim to be a racial healer. Wright's attempts to spin his comments only serve to highlight Obama's hypocrisy.

"Obama does not go out of his way to denounce such racially divisive innuendo which devastates his claim to be a racial healer. Wright's attempts to spin his comments only serve to highlight Obama's hypocrisy."
Really? I thought he did denounce the comments, twice....
So, why is he a hypocrite?
It's funny; today flicking through a left wing blog, one commentator (who says that Wright made valid points about US foreign policy and agrees with Wright) went at Obama for betraying his minister. Other commentators are suggesting that Wright's position in the black community, and Obama turning his back on him will lose him some of the black vote.....
So help me understand America and this current media frenzy over Mr. Wright.
Some white people won't vote for Obama because some guy who he knows said some stuff they don't agree with.
Some black people won't vote for Obama because in the light of what this guy said, Obama was forced to comment on this, denounce the guy and this put their noses out of joint.
Some democrats won't vote for him, because he's not old enough. Some republicans won't vote for him because he's a liberal, and white supremacists won't vote for him because he's black....
Hmmm.... looks like I just oversimplified the situation to a mind numbing level...
Sorry, I can't do anything else, because hearing about some preacher who's not running for president, and yet having an obvious impact on the race has numbed my mind.
I love America, but sometimes watching and reading this stuff is like having someone stick an electric drill up my nose and liquify my brain, causing it to dribble on to the floor.
